Intelligence entails a strong mind, but genius entails a heart of a lion in tune with a strong mind.

About This Quote

The world of intelligence is a place where the strong prevail over the weak. With intelligence, you can do whatever you want. You can make a lot of money, you can have a lot of possessions and you can even marry a lot of people. However, all these things come at a price.

With intelligence comes the risk that you will not be able to relate to other people and that you will be completely disconnected from everything else. The world is filled with intelligent people who are completely alone and live in their own universe. If they do not have a strong mind and they cannot adjust their thinking to match the rest of the world and connect to it, they become what we call “geniuses” – people who are intelligent but completely disconnected from the rest of humanity – and who live in their own universe – completely alone and completely isolated from everyone else.

While some geniuses like Albert Einstein were able to find ways to connect with others (he was able to find his way into politics), most geniuses end up as lonely actors on the stage of life only existing for themselves and isolating themselves from those around them.
